Michael Addo

Michael Addo is a London based commercial, editorial and fitness model and actor.  Born in London to Ghanaian parents, Michael was discovered whilst helping a friend out when someone dropped out of a music video shoot last minute. Soon after, he was signed to one of the biggest commercial modelling agencies in London.  Michael is a very active person with a keen interest in sport; participating in a number of sporting activities including Football, Rugby, Basketball, Athletics, various martial arts and Golf. Michael graduated from Loughborough University with a Degree in Sports Technology.  

 

Having worked in the modelling industry for over a decade, Michael's portfolio of work includes commercial, editorial, catwalk, corporate, fitness and catalogue modelling. He has appeared in a number of nationwide and international adverts and campaigns including high profile brands like Coca-Cola, Samsung, BP, Sony, Virgin, Guinness and John Lewis. His work in print and television has taken him to locations around the world and he has also worked seasons in Cape Town, South Africa. As an international model he has worked on a number of global campaigns collaborating with models, photographers directors and producers from around the world.

 

Michael also has a keen interest in acting and has attended courses and workshops at both the Actors Centre and the Actors Temple in London.  He has featured in a number of feature films and short films, whilst continuing to train and explore further the realms of acting.  

 

Michael has been described as a warm person with  a versatile look, a strong work ethic, an infectious smile, an engaging personality and a twinkle in his eye.
